Agent Provocateur Soiree AW15

Agent Provocateur Soiree AW15

‘I think of myself as a true entertainer, and the best place I do it is on stage.’

This season, Agent Provocateur takes a leaf out of Cher’s book for its demi-couture range. Soirée AW15 is all about the showgirl, so get ready to step into the spotlight: there are tail-feathers for the shaking, tassels for the twirling and sequins to shimmy the nights away.

Cher is the icon who inspired the season’s most resplendent pieces. A born star, she always dazzled in intricately-crafted scraps of fabulous nothingness, placed just-so to make her goddess-like proportions even more celestial.

Each Soirée piece is created with the same effect in mind; from elaborately boned corsets such as the Adiyah to dominating basques like Raive, barely-there gowns like the Inka or the statuesque Elenya, each piece in the range is designed to flatter and to fascinate.

The stage for AW15 is commanded by Hungarian model Eniko Mihalik, who steps into the Agent Provocateur spotlight once more as the star of Soirée. The ravishing beauty, who has covered Vogue, ELLE and Harper’s Bazaar, rises to the occasion like a true star, frolicking her way around an empty theatre in sweeping lengths of couture lace and silk, all under the watchful lens of Argentinean photographer Sebastian Faena. Glistening under the stage lights and reclining decadently on the theatre’s red velvet seats, Mihalik perfectly embodies the Soirée showgirl, bringing her unique élan to the luxurious lingerie.

Faena is renowned for his irreverently sexy style, and this is the second time in as many seasons that the model and photographer have paired up for Agent Provocateur.
